Lorenzo Bonfiglio is a global executive with significant experience in managing remote teams in fast-growing sectors. He currently serves as head of Expansion and Strategy for xNomad, an international online marketplace that specializes in connecting brands with short-term rental spaces (retail pop-ups).
Under his leadership, Swedish-based xNomad has expanded into the United States and the United Kingdom.
Before joining xNomad, Lorenzo was a strategy lead for CloudKitchens, a $15 billion real estate tech firm. In that role, he supervised real estate acquisitions and development strategy and handled large-scale partnerships.
Lorenzo's entry into innovative startups began early. As a young college student, he co-founded Pronto Systems, which developed a delivery app for staples and convenience goods. His multiple responsibilities for the new company included managing strategy, operations, marketing, recruitment, product, and business development.
Lorenzo also has a passion for the arts and community service. He has worked as an advisor to several locally renown artisans and gallery owners. And he’s actively volunteered with nonprofit housing advocacy groups, such as California YIMBY and Abundant Housing LA. He’s given his time and support to the Walkabout Foundation, which assists those with mobility disabilities; Students Helping Students, which provides aid for impoverished educational institutions; and Greensgrow, which connects urban dwellers with rural farmers.
Lorenzo's extensive travels have taken him to many countries, both as a traveler and resident. He’s fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian and proficient in Portuguese and French — language skills that have proven indispensable to his international work and volunteerism.
A graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in economics, Lorenzo Bonfiglio now resides in Los Angeles, California.
